She is recognized on the Dean’s List and on Honors Board for Alpha Xi Delta. Emily also participated in 4-H where she received the Gold Clover Award, a State Fair Delegate and Award of Excellence.Īt SIUE, Emily is a member of the National Student Speech Language Hearing Association and Iota Upsilon of the Alpha Xi Delta Fraternity. She was active in FFA and served as the Chapter Secretary & Vice President, attended the State & National Convention and participated in the Section 15 Livestock Show. Upon graduation, she aspires to work as a Speech Pathologist in either an educational setting or the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.Įmily raises and shows swine at the Macoupin County Fair and received Senior Champion Showman at the 4-H show during the 2021 Fair.
She is a graduate of Carlinville High School and currently attends Southern Illinois University, Edwardsville majoring in Speech-Language Pathology.
Emily is the 19-year-old daughter of Robert & Crystal Wiese and Dave & Leann Barr of Carlinville.
